Can I import my vocabulary list?
Yes. You can import directly from an Anki deck, Lingq export, Migaku export, or any text you may have.
It is not required to import: you can start from 0 and grow that list over time without any
pressure.
Does Kimchi Reader have a mobile app?
Yes. However, this is a PWA (Progressive Web App). Don't worry, the experience is great on it -- only the
installation method is different.
Instructions for installing.
Will it support more grammar rules in the future?
Yes. I'm adding them manually one by one. It is almost guaranteed that the parser will only get better, as each
update goes against a set of tests to ensure that nothing breaks.
Kimchi Reader does not recognize every word.
That's correct. Currently, it detects words listed in krdict/stdict combined with the supported grammar rules.
It will improve over time.
Is sentence mining only limited to anki as an export?
Yes, for now. If you want Kimchi Reader to export to another platform, let me know on the Discord server. If the
request is popular, I might add other platforms, or at least make it possible to do it manually.
How well is the EPUB import?
EPUB import is a custom feature. It works well for text, but it doesn't import images. The conversion occurs
locally in your browser, resulting in a markdown file.
Is there any support available for colorblind users?
Support for colorblind users is available, as you can customize the colors of various elements within the
settings
