Usage

  • When the word ends in a vowel or , we add after it.
  • When the word ends with a consonant, add 으로 after the word.

N+(으)로 (Direction) VS N+에 (Direction)

The (으)로 particle highlights direction, allowing for the use of terms that indicate directions such as "left, right". This contrasts with the particle, which focuses on the destination element within the sentence. Since "left, right" indicate direction rather than specific destinations, they cannot be used with the particle.
