Whenever

Whenever, every time
Expresses that every time some action tries to happen, it results in another action to happen. Equivalent to -으려고 할 때마다 or -으려고 하면.
Example
  • 무슨 BL 드라마를 볼라치면 어머니가 방에 들어오셔.
    Whenever I try to watch some BL drama, my mom comes into my room.
  • 분위기가 어색할라치면 얘가 재밌는 농담을 하거든.
    Every time the atmosphere becomes awkward he cracks a funny joke, y'know.
